Born on a dairy farm and associated with livestock all my life, I have always had a passionate interest in the feeding and health of livestock.

My interest in probiotics started in 2002 when I was milking a herd of 450 Holsteins in a very dry year.  Feeding 3kg/h/d of grain I reduced 1/2kg/h/d of grain and introduced a probiotic on specialist advice to increase FCE and animal health.

What happened next? 

The cows held milk volume, increased fat%, held protein% and increased weight gain with no extra feed or cost.

Since then, I have had the opportunity to work with some of the best animal nutritionists in Australia and overseas to further broaden my knowledge of balancing rations for livestock.

This has led to the creation of my own brand, Digestron Probiotics a range of products I am now producing and marketing in Australia, one of the strongest probiotics available to the best of my knowledge.
